Heritage Resource Commission – Regular Meeting Summary of Actions - DRAFT Monday, April 13, 2026 1. CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Heritage Resource Commission was called to order by Chair Warren at 5:00 p.m., in the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville, CA. Present: Jerry Warren, Chair Wade Luckhardt, Vice Chair Ian Halker, Commissioner Lee Halverson, Commissioner Michaela Luxton, Commissioner Jim Powers, Commissioner 2. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA There were no changes to the order of the agenda. 3. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN There were no public comments. 4. HERITAGE RESOURCE COMMISSION BUSINESS 4.1 Election of 2026 Heritage Resource Commission Chair MOTION BY COMMISSIONER POWERS, SECOND BY COMMISSIONER HALVERSON TO NOMINATE VICE CHAIR LUCKHARDT AS THE 2026 HERITAGE RESOURCE COMMISSISON CHAIR. MOTION CARRIED 6-0-0-0 Vice Chair Luckhardt assumed the Chair’s responsibilities. HERITAGE RESOURCE COMMISSION SUMMARY OF ACTIONS - DRAFT APRIL 13, 2025 2 4.2 Election of 2026 Heritage Resource Commission Vice Chair MOTION BY COMMISSIONER POWERS, SECOND BY VICE CHAIR LUCKHARDT TO NOMINATE COMMISSIONER LUXTON AS THE 2026 HERTIAGE RESOURCE COMMISSION VICE CHAIR. MOTION CARRIED 6-0-0-0 Commissioner Luxton assumed the Vice Chair’s responsibilities. 5. CONSENT CALENDAR 5.1 Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Heritage Resource Commission meeting of November 10, 2025 MOTION BY COMMISSIONER WARREN, SECOND BY COMMISSIONER HALVERSON, TO APPROVE THE SUMMARY OF ACTIONS FROM THE REGULAR HERITAGE RESOURCE COMMISSION MEETING OF NOVEMBER 10, 2025. MOTION CARRIED 6-0-0-0 6. ACTION ITEM 6.1 Adopt the updated April 13, 2026, Danville Survey of Historic Resources, including the addition of the Wood Ranch Barn at 2900 Camino Tassajara as a Danville Potential Historic Resource Chief of Planning David Crompton presented the inventory and provided the Commission. Jim Wood, property owner of the Wood Ranch Barn, presented a brief history and answered Commissioner questions about the property. 7. COMMISSIONER REPORTS 7.1 Progress report from the Commission’s Historic Survey Subcommittee There were no updates. HERITAGE RESOURCE COMMISSION SUMMARY OF ACTIONS - DRAFT APRIL 13, 2025 3 7.2 Progress report from the Commission’s Outreach/Education Subcommittee Mr. Crompton provided an update on the status of the Danville Grange Hall plaque. 8. COMMUNICATIONS 8.1 Heritage Resource update by Chief of Planning David Crompton Mr. Crompton provided an update to the Commission and answered Commissioner’s questions. 8.2 Recruitment announcement for 13 positions open to Danville residents interested in volunteering 9.
