I live
at 12 Valley View Ct, Danville,
CA 94526
which
is across the street
from 510
La Gonda Way.
When
the city offices and
police station moved
there
after incorporation,
the Valley
View Ct.
neighborhood was concerned
about
potential siren
noise
from police cruisers
leaving the
station.
Our concerns were allayed with a most
understanding and logical solution by the
town. Sirens do not sound until the cruisers have
left La Gonda Way and turned onto EI Cerro Blvd.
This arrangement has worked extremely well for
over 40 years.
I urge you to review this successful and workable
solution and apply it to the fire station that will
occupy this same address for the next few years.
