WPE is a nonprofit food recovery organization committed to eliminating hunger by recovering surplus food from
businesses, restaurants, gardens, and grocery stores and delivering it to those in need—with love. Serving 130,000
people annually through 105 partner agencies, WPE has recovered and delivered over 30 million pounds of food,
the equivalent of 25 million meals, and prevented more than 40,000 tons of CO2 emissions.

White Pony Express is looking for volunteers to pick up surplus food and deliver it to those in need. In less
than an hour, you can provide access to fresh, healthy food to our hungry neighbors and ensure no good
food is unnecessarily wasted—through one simple act.
There’s no long-term commitment and you choose the deliveries that fit your schedule. Each run involves
picking up donated food from a nearby business or grocery store and delivering it to a local nonprofit.
Step-by-step instructions are provided through WPE’s Food Rescue Hero App, so you’ll always know where
to go and what to do.
