Town Council – Regular Meeting SUMMARY OF ACTIONS March 17, 2026 – DRAFT 1. CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor Arnerich, and student Mayor for the Day, at 5:00 p.m. at the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville. Present: Newell Arnerich, Mayor Robert Storer, Vice Mayor Mark Belotz, Councilmember Renee Morgan, Councilmember Karen Stepper, Councilmember 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Cub Scouts pack 809, Montair and Baldwin elementary schools, Ravi Cheema, leader. 3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA Mayor Arnerich stated that Chief Rossberg will introduce Police Department personnel following the presentation of Proclamations. 4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN Bob Hammer announced that he is hosting a car show in Danville, stated that he had only recently realized the approved map for the street closure is incorrect, and formally requested a modification to the street closures for the event. The Council asked Town staff to agendize this for a future meeting. DANVILLE TOWN COUNCIL SUMMARY OF ACTIONS MARCH 17, 2026 5. PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS 5.1Presentation of a proclamation to April Rovero, National Coalition Against Prescription Drug Abuse, proclaiming March 2026 as Prescription Drug Abuse Awareness Month Mayor Arnerich presented the proclamation. 5.2Presentation of a proclamation to Noralyn Giles, Executive Director for Friday Night Out, and Leah Sadur, proclaiming March 2026 as National Disabilities Awareness Month Mayor Arnerich presented the proclamation. Danville Police Chief Thomas Rossberg introduced Police Department personnel. 6. CONSENT CALENDAR 6.1Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town Council meeting of March 3, 2026 6.2Consider approval of the Register of Demands 6.3Consider acceptance of the January 2026 Month End Treasurer’s Report 6.4Consider adoption of Ordinance No. 2026-01, amending Section 2-1.3b of the Danville Municipal Code relating to Town Council compensation 6.5Consider adoption of Resolution No. 21-2026, approving a substitution of work for the Northeast Roadway Improvement Assessment District 89-1 and approving transfer of funds 6.6Consider adoption of Resolution No. 22-2026, receiving and accepting the Housing Element Annual Progress Report and General Plan Annual Progress Report for 2025 6.7Consider adoption of Resolution No. 23-2026, authorizing the execution of a Funding Agreement between the Tri-Valley Transportation Council, 2 DANVILLE TOWN COUNCIL SUMMARY OF ACTIONS MARCH 17, 2026 the Town of Danville, and the Contra Costa Transportation Authority for the allocation of $2,288,292 in Tri-Valley Transportation Development Fee Funds for the Innovate 680: Coordinated Adaptive Ramp Metering Project MOTION BY COUNCILMEMBER MORGAN, SECOND BY COUNCILMEMBER STEPPER, TO APPROVE THE CONSENT CALENDAR MOTION CARRIED 5-0 7. COMMUNICATIONS 7.1Police Department Report by Danville Police Chief Thomas Rossberg Chief Rossberg presented the report. 7.2Legislative Update by Management Analyst Cat Bravo Management Analyst Cat Bravo provided the report. 8. TOWN COUNCIL REPORTS 8.1Town Council updates Councilmembers provided updates on events and activities in Danville. 9.
