1. CALL TO ORDER
The special meeting of the Danville Bicycle Advisory Commission was called to
order by Chair Heck at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street,
Danville, CA.

2. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
Transportation Manager Allan Shields removed item 7.2 from the agenda, as the
Wayfinding Subcommittee was dissolved at the November 19, 2025, special
meeting.
3. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN
There were no public comments.

4.1 Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the special Bicycle
Advisory Commission meeting of November 19, 2025

6. ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF REPORTS
6.1 Bicycle Master Plan Update
Transportation Manager Allan Shields presented the staff report and
answered questions from the Commission. Mr. Shields provided an update
on current projects in the Town relating to the Bicycle Master Plan.
Commissioner Ozimek asked about the future utilization in the downtown
corridor.
Vice Chair Wang requested an update on the safety of previously reported
hot spots.

The Commission asked questions clarifying the updated regulations
regarding sharrows on streets with a speed limit of 35 mph and above.
6.2 Transportation Development Act Article 3 Pedestrian/Bicycle Project
Funds Application Review
Transportation Manager Allan Shields presented the staff report and
answered questions from the Commission.
7. COMMISSIONER SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS
7.1 E-bike/E-Scooter & Public Outreach and Education Subcommittee
Youth Commissioner Fitzpatrick provided an update on the educational e-
bike videos he has created with San Ramon Valley High School.
7.2 Wayfinding Subcommittee
Item 7.2 was removed from the agenda as the subcommittee was
disbanded after the November 19, 2025, special meeting.
7.3 Iron Horse Corridor Management Program Advisory Committee
Commissioner Ozimek stated there had not been a meeting since the
previous Bicycle Advisory Commission meeting, therefore there were no
updates.

8.1 Next Bicycle Advisory Commission Meeting March 23, 2026
9. ADJOURNMENT
The regular meeting of the Danville Bicycle Advisory Commission was adjourned
at 5:41 p.m.
