Dear Danville Town Council Members,
I am writing to express my opposition to allowing cannabis retail sales in Danville.
Danville is consistently recognized as one of the safest cities in California, and we take pride in our
strong family-focused culture. Introducing cannabis storefronts could alter the character and optics of
our community in ways that do not reflect the values many residents cherish.
Access to cannabis is already readily available in nearby cities, as well as through delivery and online
services. There is no clear need to introduce retail sales within our town limits.
I respectfully ask the Council to prioritize maintaining Danville’s safety, reputation, and family-centered
atmosphere when making this decision.
