Dear Marie Sunseri,
I support cannabis retail in Danville.
Jeff Southerland and America's Finest Hemp Co. provide a valuable service and product to the
community. The products he carries with CBC and THC provide physical relief as well as mental and
emotional support. I personally use the CBC products to help with chronic tightness in my back. I
find it to be more effective for pain relief and much gentler on my body than over the counter or
prescription drugs. Ibuprofen is murder on the liver despite helping with pain relief.
All the doom and gloom "drug" arguments are greatly exaggerated. Cannabis never should have
been a Schedule 1 narcotic, especially considering the long list of medical benefits. Can it potentially
be abused, yes - but we don't ban over the counter drugs nor alcohol sales.
It's time to stop demonizing cannabis, understand it's positive place in the community, and support
AFHC as good people in the Danville community.
