SUMMARY OF ACTIONS
February 3, 2026 - DRAFT
1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor
Arnerich at 5:00 p.m. at the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville, CA.
Present: Newell Arnerich, Mayor
Robert Storer, Vice Mayor
Mark Belotz, Councilmember
Renee Morgan, Councilmember
Excused: Karen Stepper, Councilmember
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Lou Palandrani.
3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes.
4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN
Ashok Krishna presented information on American Heart Month and the effect of
stress on heart health.
Kay Wang presented information on Lunar New Year and upcoming community
celebrations.
Chuck Preas expressed concern regarding the fruit falling from the trees at Osage
Station Park and presented an Osage fruit that recently knocked him to the
ground.

5. PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS
5.1Presentation of a proclamation to Mitchell Hopson proclaiming February
2026 as Black History Month
Mayor Arnerich presented the proclamation.
6. CONSENT CALENDAR
6.1Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town
Council meeting of January 13, 2026
6.2Consider approval of the Register of Demands
6.3Consider acceptance of the November 2025 Month End Treasurer’s Report
6.4Consider adoption of Resolution No. 5-2026, changing the regular meeting
date of the Danville Town Council from December 1 to December 8, 2026;
and scheduling all future Mayor’s Installation and Community Service
Awards events on the second Tuesday every December
6.5Consider adoption of Resolution No. 6-2026, approving a Notice of
Completion for the Diablo Vista Park Playground Renovation Project, CIP
No. B-560
6.6Consider adoption of Resolution No. 7-2026, approving the Amended and
Restated Contra Costa Clean Water Program Agreement
6.7Consider adoption of Resolution No. 8-2026, approving the Municipal
Pooling Authority Amended and Restated Joint Exercise of Powers
Agreement
