These systems detect cyclists and trigger safe crossings. It targets high-priority sites via community input, aligning with goals for safe facilities linking trails, reducing conflicts, and encouraging cycling. 15.Project Scope Proposed for Funding: (Project level environmental, preliminary planning, and ROW are ineligible uses of TDA funds.) The proposed scope includes final engineering design, permitting, procurement, and installation of video detection devices, plus thermoplastic transportation facilities (e.g., durable markings) for enhanced cycling safety. This covers equipment acquisition, site preparation, signal integration, testing, and activation.
