1.CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Senior Advisory Commission was called to order by Chair
Hendra at 4:00 p.m. in the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville. CA.
Present: Candace Hendra, Chair
Peggy Hiramine, Commissioner arrived at 4:15 p.m.
Maynard Holliday, Commissioner
Sandra Moody, Commissioner
Excused: Steven Freshman, Vice Chair
2.CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes to the order of the agenda.
3.FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN
There were no speakers.
4.CONSENT CALENDAR
4.1. Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from July 23, 2025, Senior Advisory
Commission regular meeting.
MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MOODY, SECOND BY COMMISSIONER HOLLIDAY, TO
APPROVE THE CONSENT CALENDAR.
MOTION CARRIED 3-0-0-2; COMMISSIONERS HIRAMINE AND FRESHMAN ABSENT.

5.1 Homelessness and Affordable Housing Presentation
Parks, Recreation and Arts Commissioner, Kevin Donovan and Contra Costa
County Program Coordinator, Nhang Luong presented information about
homelessness and affordable housing.
Commissioner Hiramine arrived at 4:15 p.m.

Supervisor Tim McGrath presented an update.
