SUMMARY OF ACTIONS
October 7, 2025 - DRAFT
1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor
Morganat 5:00 p.m. at the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville, CA.
Present: Renee Morgan, Mayor
Mark Belotz, Councilmember
Karen Stepper, Councilmember
Excused: Newell Arnerich, Vice Mayor
Robert Storer, Councilmember
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Thomas Rossberg.
3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
Town Manager Tai Williams recommended deferring item 6.3 to a future
meeting.
4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN
There were no speakers.
5. PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS
5.1Presentation of a proclamation proclaiming October 2025 as National
Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Mayor Morgan presented the proclamation.

FOR DISCUSSION
Councilmember Stepper referred to one entry on page 2 of the Demand Register titled
Grade Tech Inc. in the amount of $245,986.17 for project A-362 Downtown Improvements.
She stated that the streets have no bike lanes and no raised intersections at
Prospect/Hartz and Linda Mesa/Hartz which the Town Council discussed in study
sessions. She requested that the project be brought back to the Town Council to discuss
and take action to have the intersections raised to address the grade and safety of the
intersections.
City Attorney Rob Ewing provided a legal overview of the situation and use of
contingency and retention funds. He discussed the project specifications, construction
process, and steps to bid and re-construct the intersections in the future.

Mayor Morgan requested that an item be placed on a future Town Council agenda to
discuss the raised intersections.
Town Manager Tai Williams stated that it is appropriate to agendize this item for Town
Council discussion on November 5 to discuss the issue in its totality and consider options
to move forward.
