SUBJECT: Resolution No. 61-2025, approving a Notice of Completion for the San
Ramon Valley Boulevard Improvements Project, CIP No. C-600
BACKGROUND
The Town’s Capital Improvement Program includes San Ramon Valley Boulevard
Improvements, CIP No. C-600. This project constructed roadway resurfacing
improvements, Americans with Disability Act (ADA) curb ramp upgrades, high-visibility
bike lane and crosswalk striping marking upgrades, and traffic signal video detection and
pedestrian signal upgrades on San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
This project was funded in part by the One Bay Area Grant II (OBAGII), a federal grant
program administered by Caltrans.
DISCUSSION
The project is now complete and ready for acceptance by the Town. All work was performed
in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
The original contract amount of $2,795,101.45 was increased by $346,127.81 as a result of
three contract change orders. The change orders consisted of bid item adjustments,
additional traffic and bike lane striping and extending the limits of pavement rehabilitation
from south of Sycamore Valley Road to southern Town limits.
The final contract amount of $3,141,229.26 (contract plus change orders) is within the
authorized construction budget for this project.

RESOLUTION NO. 61-2025
APPROVING A NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE SAN RAMON VALLEY
BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, CIP NO. C-600
WHEREAS, on July 2, 2024, the Town of Danville awarded a construction contract to
MCK Services Inc., for the San Ramon Valley Boulevard Improvements Project, CIP No.
C-600
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that the work under this project has been
completed as of July 31, 2025, in accordance with the plans and specifications thereof; and
WHEREAS, California Civil Code section 9204 specifies the requirements for recordation
of a Notice of Completion; and
WHEREAS, not less than thirty days (30) nor more than forty-five (45) days after a Notice
of Completion is recorded the Town must release all undisputed retention payments to
the contractor; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that said work by and with MCK Services
Inc., is hereby accepted as complete; and, be it further
RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file with the
Country Recorder of the County of Contra Costa, a Notice of Completion for said project
within fifteen (15) days from the date hereof: and, be it further
RESOLVED, that undisputed retention payments be released in accordance with
Sections 8812 and 9356 of the California Civil Code.

and the Town of Danville has been completed on July 31, 2025, in accordance with plans
and specifications. I verify, under penalty of perjury, that the foregoing is true and correct.
