Summary of Actions
May 19, 2025
1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Danville Bicycle Advisory Commission was called to
order by Chair Heck at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street,
Danville, CA.
Present: Chris Heck, Chair
Connor Fitzpatrick, Youth Commissioner
Jose Gutierrez, Commissioner
Ryan Ozimek, Commissioner
Tim White, Commissioner
Excused: Angela Wang, Vice Chair
2. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
Transportation Manager Allan Shields combined items 6.1 and 6.2 as both
subcommittees were merged into one subcommittee at the January 21, 2025,
meeting.
3. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN
There were no speakers.
4. CONSENT CALENDAR
4.1 Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Bicycle
Advisory Commission meeting of March 24, 2025

GUTIERREZ, TO APPROVE THE CONSENT CALENDAR.

5. COMMUNICATIONS
5.1 Iron Horse Trail Improvements – Raised Crosswalks
Project Manager Joe Paull, of Sandis, presented an update to the
Commission of the Iron Horse Trail Raised Crosswalks project and
answered commissioner questions.
5.2 San Ramon Valley Blvd. Improvements Update / Sharrows installed on
Front Street
Transportation Manager Allan Shields provided an update for the
Commission and answered commissioner questions.
5.3 Sycamore Valley Road Improvements
Transportation Manager Allan Shields provided an update for the
Commission and answered commissioner questions.
5.4 E-bike / Motorcycle Update
Transportation Manager Allan Shields provided an update for the
Commission and answered commissioner questions. Mr. Shields informed
the Commission of Electric Bike Enforcement Day on May 21, 2025.
6. COMMISSIONER SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS
6.1 - 6.2 E-bike and E-Scooter Outreach Subcommittee & Public Outreach and
Education Subcommittee
Commissioner Ozimek provided an update from the Iron Horse Corridor
Management Advisory Committee.
6.3 Wayfinding Subcommittee
