HomeMy WebLinkAbout052925-05.1 DESIGN REVIEW BOARD STAFF REPORT 5.1 TO: Design Review Board Members May 29, 2025 SUBJECT: Review and approve the architecture, color and material board, and landscape design for Development Plan request DEV25-0009 for a new single-family residence located at 36 McNeil Lane. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project includes a Development Plan request (DEV25-0009) to review architectural elevations, colors and materials, and landscaping for the new 3,693 +/- square foot single family residence. The lot was created under Minor Subdivision MS 852-2019 which conditioned the development of this lot to be reviewed and approved by the Design Review Board. EVALUATION Architecture  The development criteria is consistent with R-10 Single-Family Residential Zoning District development standards including height and setbacks.  The proposed residence is 3,693 square feet, two-stories, with an attached 506 square foot garage.  The proposed residence would have wood siding painted an off-white color, with a brown-taupe trim, black windows, grey door, and a black composite shingle roof. Landscape  All trees are a minimum of 15-gallon container sizes and the shrubs are a minimum of 5-gallons in size.  The landscape plan retains a significant portion of the existing oleander bushes which was conditioned as part of the Minor Subdivision approval. 36 McNeil Lane – Development Plan 2 May 29, 2025 RECOMMENDATION Review and approve the architecture, color and material board, and landscape design for Development Plan request DEV25-0009 for a new single-family residence located at 36 McNeil Lane.
