Town Council – Regular Meeting SUMMARY OF ACTIONS April 15, 2025 - DRAFT 1. CALL TO ORDER The Closed Session adjourned at 4:50 p.m. City Attorney Rob Ewing reported out of Closed Session that no action was taken. The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor Morgan at 5:00 p.m. at the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville, CA. Present: Renee Morgan, Mayor Newell Arnerich, Vice Mayor Mark Belotz, Councilmember Karen Stepper, Councilmember Robert Storer, Councilmember 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG The pledge of allegiance was led by Congressman Mark DeSaulnier. 3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA Town Manager Joe Calabrigo requested that item 7.1 follow item 9.1. 4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN There were no speakers. 5. PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS 5.1Update on federal funding by Mark DeSaulnier, Congressman 10 District th Congressman DeSaulnier provided the update. DANVILLE TOWN COUNCIL SUMMARY OF ACTIONS APRIL 15, 2025 5.2Presentation of a proclamation to Amy Schell, Program Assistant, and Tim McGrath, Program Supervisor, Danville Recreation, Arts and Community Services Department, proclaiming April 2025 as National Volunteer Recognition Month Mayor Morgan presented the proclamation. 6. CONSENT CALENDAR Councilmember Belotz removed item 6.1. 6.1Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town Council meeting of April 1, 2025 REMOVED FOR DISCUSSION 6.2Consider approval of the Register of Demands 6.3Consider acceptance of the February 2025 Month End Treasurer’s Report MOTION BY COUNCILMEMBER STORER, SECOND BY COUNCILMEMBER STEPPER, TO APPROVE THE CONSENT CALENDAR; WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ITEM 6.1 MOTION CARRIED 5-0 ITEM 6.1 - CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE SUMMARY OF ACTIONS FROM THE REGULAR TOWN COUNCIL MEETING OF APRIL 1, 2025 REMOVED FOR DISCUSSION Councilmember Belotz recommended an edit to the Summary of Actions. MOTION BY COUNCILMEMBER BELOTZ, SECOND BY COUNCILMEMBER STEPPER, TO APPROVE THE SUMMARY OF ACTIONS FROM THE REGULAR TOWN COUNCIL MEETING OF APRIL 1, 2025, AS MODIFIED MOTION CARRIED 5-0 2 DANVILLE TOWN COUNCIL SUMMARY OF ACTIONS APRIL 15, 2025 7. TOWN MANAGER’S REPORT 7.1 Monthly Town Manager’s report by Joe Calabrigo MOVED TO FOLLOW AGENDA ITEM 9.1 8. COMMUNICATIONS 8.1Contra Costa Transportation Authority Citizen Advisory Committee update by Danville representative Michael Carr Michael Carr provided the update. 8.2Legislative update by Management Analyst Cat Bravo Cat Bravo provided the update. 8.3Development Services Department Report by Director Diane Friedmann Diane Friedmann provided the update. 9. INFORMATIONAL STAFF REPORTS 9.1 Quarterly Investment Report (Chandler Asset Management) Genny Linkiewicz, Chandler Asset Management, provided the report. ITEM 7.1 - MONTHLY TOWN MANAGER’S REPORT BY JOE CALABRIGO MOVED TO FOLLOW AGENDA ITEM 9.1 Joe Calabrigo announced that he is retiring at the end of the fiscal year, June 30, 2025, after serving as Danville’s Town Manager for 32 years. 10.
