The following individual submitted a speaker card in support of the skate park proposed
for Diablo Vista Park and did not address the Town Council:

Mayor Morgan closed the item to public comment.
Vice Mayor Arnerich questioned if bicycles and scooters would operate in the skate park
at the same time.
City Attorney Rob Ewing stated that signs would need to be posted indicating the rules
regarding the operation of bicycles and scooters, with possible separate timeframes.
Councilmember Stepper discussed the State's insurance coverage for the use of a wheel
park, and reasons she feels the skate park is important for the community and a gathering
place for all ages.
Vice Mayor Arnerich provided a historical evolution of proposing a skate park in
Danville, including legal aspects. He stated that popularity and potential use of a skate
park has waned over the years, Danville funds are needed for other projects, and he
expressed opposition to the Resolution.
