CALL TO ORDER The regular joint meeting of the Danville Parks, Recreation and Arts Commission and Arts Advisory Board was called to order by Chair Mesic at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville. CA. Present: Parks, Recreation and Arts Commission Addison Brown, Youth Commissioner Kevin Donovan, Commissioner Adam Falcon, Commissioner Jane Joyce, Commissioner Carol Mascali, Commissioner Jenna Mesic, Chair Charles Neary, Vice Chair Arts Advisory Board Kim Bowles, Board Member Scott Phillips, Board Member Mike White, Board Member Charles Neary, Vice Chair Jane Joyce, Chair Excused: Randall Diamond, Commissioner; Madeleine Roytfeld, Youth Commissioner 2. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA There were no changes to the Order of the Agenda. 3. “FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN” There were no public comments. ACTION ITEMS 4.1 Approval of the Summary of Actions of the April 10, 2024, Recreation, Arts & Community Services Regular Meeting. MOTION BY COMMISSIONER JOYCE, SECOND BY VICE CHAIR NEARY, TO APPROVE THE SUMMARY OF ACTIONS FROM THE APRIL 10, 2024 PARKS COMMISSION MEETING. 4.2 Approval of the Summary of Actions of the March 13, 2024 Recreation, Arts & Community Services & Arts Advisory Board Joint Regular Meeting. MOTION BY COMMISSIONER JOYCE, SECOND BY VICE CHAIR NEARY, TO APPROVE THE SUMMARY OF ACTIONS FROM THE MARCH 13, 2024 ARTS ADVISORY BOARD COMMITTEE. MOTION CARRIED: 12-2-0-0 5. COMMUNICATION 5.1 There was a presentation and discussion of the Town Green and Arts District Concept Master Plan in Danville. The Commission discussed options and preferences for the Town Green and the arts pavilion. The Commission moved to direct staff to approve Option 2. 5.2 Recreation, Arts & Community Services Director’s Report Director Henry Perezalonso provided an update on the Town Council meeting and reported on the Recreation’s Department upcoming events for the month. The Commission 5.3 Commissioners Reports and Comments The Commissioners provided updates on activities and events in Danville. 6.
