SUBJECT: Annual Town Council and Commission Workshop and Dinner
On behalf of the Town Council, we look forward to seeing you at the annual Town
Council/Commission Workshop. This year’s workshop is scheduled from 3:00 to
6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2025, at the Danville Community Center located
at 420 Front Street. Upon arrival, please check in with Town staff to receive your
table and seating location. Following the meeting, at 6:30 p.m., we will gather for
dinner at Bridges Restaurant, located at 44 Church Street.
The meeting will begin with a welcome by Mayor Morgan, followed by an
introduction of each commission, board, and designated appointees. This will
provide an opportunity to introduce and welcome new commissioners and
appointees to the Town family.
Attendees will receive updates from the Town Council, a presentation by each
Commission/Board Chair on their respective appointed body’s upcoming efforts,
followed by updates on high priority projects or initiatives that are expected to be
at the forefront in 2025, including the:
• Downtown Master Plan Catalyst Project
• Lighting & Landscape Assessment District
• Diablo Road Trail
Workshop materials are intended to inform participants of current activities and
priorities for the Town Council and each of our appointed bodies, as well as
background information that may be of interest. This includes a summary of the
roles and responsibilities of the Town Council, Town Commissions and Town
staff, and Town Council Guidelines that describe protocols by which
councilmembers and appointees are expected to operate.
Please take some time to review the material before the workshop so that we can
provide additional information or respond to any questions you may have at the
workshop.
If you have any questions regarding logistics related to either the workshop or the
dinner afterward, please feel free to contact your Commission or Board staff
member. You are also welcome to contact Cat Bravo at (925) 314-3377 or
cbravo@danville.ca.gov.
We look forward to seeing you all on March 10.
