SUMMARY OF ACTIONS
January 14, 2025 - DRAFT
1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Vice
Mayor Arnerich at 5:00 p.m. at the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville,
CA.
Present: Newell Arnerich, Vice Mayor
Mark Belotz, Councilmember
Karen Stepper, Councilmember
Robert Storer, Councilmember
Excused: Renee Morgan, Mayor
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The pledge of allegiance was led by Henry Perezalonso.
3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes to the order of the agenda.
4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN
Anthony Geisler, Diablo Historic Preservation Committee, presented each Town
Councilmember with the recently published historical book.
Diablo Treasures
Dewey Duran expressed concern regarding inadequate street sweeping in Town.
Lucca Small expressed concern regarding pedestrian safety and reckless driving
in the area of Green Valley Elementary School and requested policing in the area.

Andy Kim expressed support for the proposed Diablo Vista Park Skatepark and
requested an update on the bid process.
Derek Dressler expressed concern regarding the off-ramp near La Questa Drive
and the existing gate that allows for trespassing, vandalism and graffiti. He
requested lighting and surveillance in the area.
5. CONSENT CALENDAR
5.1Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town
Council meeting of December 17, 2024
5.2Consider approval of the Register of Demands
5.3Consider acceptance of the November 2024 Month End Treasurer’s Report
5.4Consider adoption of Resolution No. 1-2025, awarding a construction
contract for tree removal for Diablo Road Trail, CIP C-055
5.5Consider adoption of Resolution No. 2-2025,accepting the Development
Impact Fees AB 1600 Report for Fiscal Year 2023/24

8. ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF REPORTS
8.1Consider removal of two members of the Town’s Bicycle Advisory
Commission
City Attorney Rob Ewing presented the staff report and answered
questions from the Town Council.
Vice Mayor Arnerich opened the item to public comment.
The following individuals expressed support for retaining Alan Kalin and
Bruce Bilodeau on the Bicycle Advisory Commission:

Vice Mayor Arnerich closed the item to public comment.
MOTION BY COUNCILMEMBER STORER, SECOND BY VICE MAYOR ARNERICH,
TO REMOVE ALAN KALIN AND BRUCE BILODEAU FROM THE BICYCLE
ADVISORY COMMISSION EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
Councilmember Stepper provided background information regarding the
Bicycle Advisory Commission and expressed support for retaining Alan
Kalin and Bruce Bilodeau on the Commission.
Councilmember Belotz expressed support for the motion and a desire for a
fresh start for the Commission.

Commission and expressed support for the motion.
