HomeMy WebLinkAbout20241210 - AGENDA Planning Commission – Regular Meeting AGENDA Tuesday, December 10, 2024 5:00 p.m. Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville Any document provided to a majority of the members of the Planning Commission regarding any item on this agenda will be made available for public inspection at the meeting and at the Danville Town Offices, 500 La Gonda Way, Danville, CA during normal business hours. Danville Planning Commission meetings are video recorded. Archived videos can be viewed on the Town website at www.danville.ca.gov. The Danville Planning Commission encourages citizens to participate in Commission meetings. How to submit public comments: In-person – verbal comments: Attend the meeting, complete the yellow “Request to Speak” form available at the meeting, and submit the yellow form to staff at the meeting. The Commission Chair will announce your name when it is your turn to address the Planning Commission. Step to the lectern, announce your name, and limit your comments to 3 minutes. Email - written comments: To provide written comments, send an email to the Development Services Administrative Assistant prior to 11:00 a.m. on the day of the meeting. Correspondence should include the meeting date and agenda item number. All comments received prior to the deadline will be provided to the members in advance of the meeting. Written comments will NOT be read into the record. Correspondence submitted to the Town for this meeting is a public record. PLANNING COMMISSION BUSINESS 4.1 Appointment of one Planning Commission Representative to the Design Review Board 5. CONSENT CALENDAR - Consent calendar items are considered routine and are acted upon by the Planning Commission with a single action. Members of the audience wishing to provide public input may request that the Planning Commission remove the item from the Consent Calendar. Please fill out a “Request to Speak” form and pass it to staff at the dais. When called upon by the Commission Chair, please step to the podium, state your name and address, and then make your comments. Comments should not exceed three (3) minutes. 5.1 Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Planning Commission meeting of November 12, 2024 6. PUBLIC HEARING 6.1 Land Use Permit request LUP24-0024 to allow a personal service hair salon business use at a location within Downtown Business District 1; Old Town Retail, which limits ground floor land uses to retail or restaurant.
