SUMMARY OF ACTIONS
September 17, 2024 - DRAFT
1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor
Stepper at 5:00 p.m. at the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville, CA.
Present: Karen Stepper, Mayor
Newell Arnerich, Councilmember
Renee Morgan, Councilmember
Robert Storer, Councilmember
Excused: Dave Fong, Vice Mayor
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The pledge of allegiance was led by Eric Ardell.
3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes to the order of the agenda.
Town Manager Joe Calabrigo stated that a revised resolution was distributed for
item 6.7.
4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN
Valerie Zankich requested that the Town prioritize CIP Project 638 to construct a
sidewalk on La Gonda Way from El Cerro to El Pintado Road for the safety of
pedestrians.

Eric Ardell stated that the Veterans Memorial Building Library and Historical
Committee is planning the 100th anniversary of the building on March 30, 2025 and
invited the community to the celebration. He requested that the Town consider
closing East Prospect Ave. from Hartz Ave. to Front Street for the event.
5. PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS
5.1 Reading of a proclamation by Mayor Stepper proclaiming September 15,
2024, through October 15, 2024, as National Hispanic Heritage Month
Mayor Stepper read the proclamation.
6. CONSENT CALENDAR
6.1 Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town
Council meeting of September 3, 2024
6.2 Consider approval of the Register of Demands
6.3 Consider acceptance of the July 2024 Month End Treasurer’s Report
6.4 Consider adoption of Ordinance No. 2024-08, amending Section 2-3.1 of the
Danville Municipal Code designating the Finance Director or
Administrative Services Director as the Town Treasurer (R. Ewing)
6.5 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 67-2024, accepting private
improvements for Minor Subdivision MS 855-2015, located at 775 Kirkcrest
Road
6.6 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 68-2024, accepting private
improvements for Minor Subdivision MS 852-2021, located at 932 La Gonda
Way
6.7 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 69-2024, awarding funds to Discovery
Counseling Center to support a three-year Comprehensive Group Therapy
Program to meet the urgent mental health needs of underserved
populations
