Dear City Clerk, Prior to Tuesday, June 18th 5PM Town Hall meeting, I want to express my concerns and disappointment in the consideration for the Major Subdivision SD 9673 – Sycamore Hills. Here are a few of my thoughts/concerns: 1. The Open Space should NOT be considered for development. It has been designated as open space for many, many years and is part of the charm of Danville. 2. Landslides or changing the grading can compromise the homes on Campbell Place and Glascow Circle. Tassajara hills have been known to be unstable and any additional grading can cause serious consequences for Campbell Place homeowners. 3. Development behind our homes will cause extreme noise, construction traffic, and privacy issues. All our backyard fences are open wire fences to enjoy the view of the Tassajara hills. Construction behind our homes will allow construction workers to view our private yards causing extreme privacy issues. 4. We have many small children on Campbell Place and constructions workers conducting a major development will create a safety issue for the homeowners and their families. 5. Due to privacy issues and the reasons above, Campbell Place HOA does not grant access to the developer from our roads. I hope stating my concerns is considered during the review of Major Subdivision SD 9673 – Sycamore Hills. These hills should be turned over to the parks department and remain open space indefinitely. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have. Thank you.
