SUMMARY OF ACTIONS
April 2, 2024 – DRAFT
1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor
Stepper at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville, CA.
Present: Karen Stepper, Mayor
Newell Arnerich, Councilmember
Renee Morgan, Councilmember
Robert Storer, Councilmember
Excused: Dave Fong, Vice Mayor
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Stacey Gill.
3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes to the order of the agenda.
4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN
Chuck Prease expressed opposition to the pickleball courts proposed for Osage
Station Park.
5. PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS
5.1 Presentation of a proclamation to Seng Lovan, Senior Community Library
Manager, proclaiming April 7-13, 2024, as National Library Week
Mayor Stepper presented the proclamation.

6. CONSENT CALENDAR
6.1 Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town
Council meeting of March 19, 2024
6.2 Consider approval of the Register of Demands
6.3 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 22-2024, receiving and accepting the
Housing Element Annual Progress Report for 2023
6.4 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 23-2024, authorizing the Town Manager
to execute a contract with Avidex Industries, LLC for technology upgrades at
the Town Meeting Hall, and appropriating funds for the project
MOTION BY COUNCILMEMBER ARNERICH, SECOND BY COUNCILMEMBER
MORGAN, TO APPROVE THE CONSENT CALENDAR

9. TOWN COUNCIL REPORTS
9.1 Town Council updates
Councilmembers provided updates on events and activities in Danville.
Councilmember Arnerich made a motion to discuss the future of the
Danville Bicycle Advisory Commission at the Town Council study session
on April 9, 2024. Councilmember Storer seconded the motion. A majority
of the Town Council members present were in favor of the motion, with
Mayor Stepper opposed.
10. ADJOURNMENT
The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
