SUMMARY OF ACTIONS
March 6, 2024 – DRAFT
1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor
Stepper at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville, CA.
Present: Karen Stepper, Mayor
Dave Fong, Vice Mayor
Renee Morgan, Councilmember
Robert Storer, Councilmember – arrived at 5:40 p.m.
Excused: Newell Arnerich, Councilmember
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Cub Scout Pack 805, Mike Davis,
Cubmaster.
3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes to the order of the agenda.
4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN
There were no speakers.
5. PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS
5.1Presentation of a proclamation to Andrew Sorley, Red Cross Contra Costa
County Leadership Council, proclaiming March as American Red Cross
Month
Mayor Stepper presented the proclamation.

6.1Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town
Council meeting of February 20, 2024
6.2Consider approval of the Register of Demands
6.3Consider adoption of Resolution No. 15-2024, designating the District
Engineer, directing preparation of the annual report for fiscal year 2024/25
for the Danville Street Lighting and Landscape Assessment District 1983-1
and approving a contract extension with Francisco and Associates
6.4Consider adoption of Resolution No. 16-2024, awarding a professional
services agreement for engineering design services for the Diablo Trail
Project, CIP Project C-055 REMOVED FOR DISCUSSION

APPROVE THE CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS 6.1 THROUGH 6.3

ITEM 6.4 - CONSIDER ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 16-2024, AWARDING A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES
FOR THE DIABLO TRAIL PROJECT, CIP PROJECT C-055 REMOVED FOR
DISCUSSION
Town Manager Joe Calabrigo provided an overview of the project.
Mayor Stepper opened the item to public comment.

7.1 Monthly Town Manager’s report by Joe Calabrigo
Joe Calabrigo provided the report.
Councilmember Storer joined the meeting at 5:40 p.m.
8. COMMUNICATIONS
8.1Recruitment announcement by City Clerk Marie Sunseri for positions open
to Danville residents interested in volunteering. Terms begin July 1, 2024:
a.Bicycle Advisory Commission: 2 regular members; 1 youth
commissioner
b.Heritage Resource Commission: 1 regular member; 1 licensed architect
c.County Connection Citizens Advisory Committee: 1 representative
Marie Sunseri announced the recruitment.
8.2Quarterly Police Department Report and introduction of new staff by
Danville Police Chief Allan Shields
Allan Shields provided the report and introduced new Police personnel.
