➢TVLL has been complimented by many of our neighboring leagues, over Summer Tournaments, that Field
5 at Sycamore is by far the most desirable and well maintained Little League field in the area.
➢TVLL and Town Maintenance partners on the care and maintenance of Field 5 -resulting in the praise from
our Town residents and neighboring leagues that play at Sycamore Park.
➢TVLL has invested in improvements with Town Maintenance approvals (with Smart/Digital locks, turf fence
netting, a dedicated utility cart, fence for Field 6, etc.) over the last two years to help provide the best
experience for our kids and our community.
➢We believe our collaboration and communication with Town representatives (e.g., Dave C., Ian M., and
John T.) has greatly improved over the last two years. We are committed to maintain and expand our
relationship as we look to invest and raise the bar for what we can accomplish together.
The TVLL and Town of Danville Partnership
Our Proposal
TVLL seeks approval from the Town to install and maintain a professional, high quality,
permanent scoreboard at Sycamore Park Field 5.
A permanent scoreboard will:
1)Continue to differentiate Sycamore Park as a top facility in our Valley
2)Encourage more participation in youth sports in TVLL and our Sports Alliance partners
3)Balance parody with other neighboring cities and towns that have permanent scoreboards
4)Enrich the community experience for our residents
Our proposal for TVLL to incur ALL installation costs and ongoing maintenance costs (including but not
limited to design, engineering, electrical trenching, permits, repair, bulb replacement, damage/vandalism
etc.)
Site Plan & Scoreboard Dimensions
A special thanks to Jim Wood at R&J
construction to help review our
proposal and provide this site plan
The location of the scoreboard will be
in an area that is not usable for any
sports or mixed use purposes
The scoreboard will be behind the
current temporary fence line used for
baseball, and not interfere with
Mustang Soccer
We would welcome other community
organizations to use the scoreboard
through a process to be determined
Scoreboard Mockup
(Electro-Mech Scoreboard Company)
Scoreboard purpose is to recognize our
neighborhood and our league
As indicated on previous page, scoreboard
is 10’ long by 7’ tall.
Scoreboard will be designed primarily for
baseball (pitch count and inning/score),
however can be used for other sports (such
as soccer, softball, etc.)
Scoreboard is environmentally friendly, with
sustainable materials and LED lights -
limiting energy usage
