HomeMy WebLinkAboutASRDRB20231214 5.2DESIGN REVIEW BOARD STAFF REPORT 5e2 TO: Design Review Board Members December 14, 2023 SUBJECT: Review and approve final building permit plans for a previously approved two-story 4,000 square foot commercial building at 212 Front (Project Planner: David Crompton). PROTECT DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND This development was approved by the Planning Commission on March 22, 2022. Conditions of approval require that the final building permit plan be returned to the DRB for review and approval prior to issuance of building permits. EVALUATION Staff worked with the architect to ensure that all important details of the approved architecture are pulled forward to the building plans. One significant alteration is that the ground floor windows in the forward location of both first floor side elevations have been eliminated. There does not appear to be any alternatives as these locations are where the electrical panels need to be located. • Colors and materials will be presented at the meeting. RECOMMENDATION Review and approve final building permit plans for a previously approved two-story 4,000 square foot commercial building at 212 Front (Project Planner: David Crompton).
