Arts Advisory Board - Regular Meeting Meeting Summary July 12, 2023 1. CALL TO ORDER The Danville Arts Advisory Board regular meeting was called to order by Vice Chair Joyce at 4:00 p.m. in the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville, CA. Present: Kim Bowles, Board Member Charles Neary, Board Member Scott Phillips, Board Member Madeleine Roytfeld, Youth Member Mike White, Board Member Jane Joyce, Vice Chair 1.1 Introduction of New Board Members Introductions of Board Member Scott Phillips, Board Member Mike White, and Youth Member Madeleine Roytfeld. 2. PUBLIC COMMENTS Lin G. Chiang, Danville Resident, spoke of her concern for her family and residence. Vice Chair Joyce closed public comments. 3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA There were no changes to the Order of the Agenda. 4. Public Art Update Cultural Arts Program Supervisor Marija Nelson-Bleier provided an update on public art. 5.2 Town Updates Recreation Superintendent Jessica Wallner updated the Board on recent events, activities, and staff updates that have taken place within the Recreation Department. 5.3 Board Member Reports and Comments Board members provided updates on events and activities in Danville.
