1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Danville Bicycle Advisory Commission was called to
order by Chair Kalin at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street,
Danville, CA.

Andrew Dillard, Transportation Manager provided an update on the City
of San Ramon Micromobility Pilot Project.

7.2 Capital Improvement Program Updates
Andrew Dillard, Transportation Manager provided an update on CIP
Project status.

7.3 Review of Bicycles vs. Vehicle collision statistics and mapping reports
Andrew Dillard, Transportation Manager presented a GIS pin map of
bicycle -involved collisions for the time period of 2009-2022. Map was
created by Vice Chair Bilodeau. In addition, staff provided updated
statistics from 2020-2022.
7.4 Subcommittee Updates
An update from the Iron Horse Trail Corridor Safety Subcommittee was
provided by Chair Kalin and Vice Chair Bilodeau.
An update from the Corridor Committee, Marketing, Education, and
Community Outreach Subcommittee was provided by Commissioner
Williams.
An update from the Bicycling to School, Routes, and Safety Assessments
Subcommittee was provided by Commissioner Williams and
Commissioner Choi.
8. COMMUNICATIONS
8.1 Communication received from community cyclists regarding Camino
Tassajara bicycle lanes
Andrew Dillard, Transportation Manager reported on a communication
received from a concerned bicyclist traveling on eastbound Camino
Tassajara regarding a construction contractor's temporary traffic control
deployment. A video was provided.
8.2 Bicycle Community Event Announcements
Andrew Dillard, Transportation Manager gave updates on two upcoming
bicycle -related events consisting of the Street Smarts Bicycle Rodeo at Iron
Horse Middle School on Saturday, May 6, 2023 and the 511-sponsored Bike
To Work Day on Thursday, May 18, 2023.
