July 5, 2023 – DRAFT
1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor
Storer at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville, CA.
Present: Robert Storer, Mayor
Karen Stepper, Vice Mayor
Newell Arnerich, Councilmember
Dave Fong, Councilmember
Renee Morgan, Councilmember
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Nate McCormack.
3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes to the order of the agenda.

There were no speakers.
5. PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS
5.1Presentation of a proclamation to Jenna Mesic, Vice-Chair of the Danville
Parks, Recreation and Arts Commission, proclaiming July as Parks Make
Life Better! Month
Mayor Storer presented the proclamation.

6. CONSENT CALENDAR
6.1Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town
Council meeting of June 20, 2023
6.2Consider approval of the Register of Demands
6.3Consider adoption of Resolution No. 53-2023, awarding a professional
services agreement for engineering design and services during construction
and appropriate additional funding of the Front Street Creek Bank
Stabilization, CIP Project C-593
6.4Consider adoption of Resolution No. 54-2023, authorizing an Emergency
Slope Repair contract pursuant to California Public Contract Code Sections
20168 and 22050 and appropriating additional funding for Front Street
Creek Bank Stabilization, CIP Project C-593
6.5Consider adoption of Resolution No. 55-2023, authorizing the Town
Manager to accept grant funds in the amount of $20,935.20 from the State
of California for the Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program administered by
the California Highway Patrol and authorizing the Chief of Police or Town
Manager to execute the Grant Program Agreement and to allocate the non-
matching grant funds to train and deploy Police Department staff to reduce
collisions due to impaired driving

Emergency Services Manager Nate McCormack provided the report.
