DESIGN REVIEW BOARD STAFF REPORT 5el TO: Design Review Board Members June 15, 2023 SUBJECT: Review and approve the architecture and color and material board for Development Plan request DEV23-0004 to allow the construction of a new 1,025 +/- square foot metal awning for The Vine located at 480 Hartz Ave. PROTECT DESCRIPTION The project includes a Development Plan request (DEV23-0004) to review architectural elevations and material colors for a new 1,025 +/- square foot metal awning to cover an existing outdoor patio utilized by The Vine and located within Downtown Business District Area 1; Old Town. EVALUATION History • The existing outdoor patio area was approved under Development Plan DEV18- 0021 with all parking in -lieu fees being paid. Architecture • The development criteria for the project are consistent with Downtown Business District Area 1. • A black metal awning will cover the exterior dining area and will have a blue - toned gray fabric cover.
