Video & Photography Package
(as previously designated)
•A total of $20,000 is recommended to be set
aside for the Danville Area Chamber of
Commerce to administer their established
branding package (i.e.photography and video
services) to support local businesses.
•Upon receiving direction from the Town Council on the
11th, we will develop the program, which
includes creating an application process and
establishing eligibility criteria, and program guidelines.
•Staff intends to bring forward a program
recommendation for consideration to the Town
Council on May 2, 2023.
Addition of
Business Nuts & Bolts Workshops
•Requesting the addition of $30,000 to administer
the Business Nuts & Bolts Workshop Program to
promote grants funding for brick & mortar.
•Grants will go directly to businesses for all aspects of
marketing, with a small fraction covering hard costs
(virtual meeting expenses / venue rental, food and
beverage, audio-visual, speakers, meeting materials).
•Workforce education opportunity for businesses and
their employees that has unlimited potential for “good
will” in the community
•Offers the opportunity to promote partnership and grants
opportunities available to brick & mortar businesses
•Educational efforts do not discriminate between brick &
mortar, home-based, or Chamber only as training is open
to all businesses.
•Win-Win for the Town of Danville and the Chamber
