Dear town council,
I’d like to go on record as supporting the expansion of the Pickleball courts at Osage park. I began playingPickleball in the summer of 2021 & have found a welcoming community of new friends that I never would havemet. The game is fun to play & pretty easy to learn. The 2 courts are usually quite busy in the mornings & we couldreally use more courts.
Please consider expanding the number of courts to accommodate the number of people that enjoy the game

We wrote you awhile back in support of more Pickleball courts. We still so love this sport and since our last letter toyou we have recruited 5 more friends/ neighbors to join us! We all hope more courts are on their way. We oftenhave to wait 30 plus minutes between games!

Gail,Just a little reminder to let you know we are eagerly waiting for our new courts May I suggest, so the neighbors don’t complain so much anymore, can we just get two more courts, total of 4 courtsit’s fine.For sure, no more than 6 courts please.

Hi Gail,
I heard that there’s a Parks, Recreation, and Arts Commission meeting this week. I’m not sure if the Osagepickleball courts will be discussed or if there will be any results to share on the sound studies during this meetingbut I want to voice my opinion that Danville still needs more pickleball courts. Based on their report, I felt that theprevious committee did a thorough job and covered a lot of points that other cities didn’t do before converting overto pickleball courts. Once the sound study has been completed, I think you will see that adding 4 to 6 morepickleball courts at Osage will not be a major issue. I know there’s a lot of pushback from the neighborhood but Ihope you can see that most of their complaints are from being close to a middle school and not due to the pickleballcourts or the pickleball community.
