CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor Arnerich at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville, CA. Present: Newell Arnerich, Mayor Robert Storer, Vice Mayor Dave Fong, Councilmember Renee Morgan, Councilmember Karen Stepper, Councilmember 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Renee Morgan. 3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA There were no changes. 4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN The following individuals spoke in opposition to the addition of pickleball courts at Osage Station Park: Chuck Preas John Somers Kolisa Larue Mark Seller submitted a speaker card in opposition to the addition of pickleball courts at Osage Station Park. 5. CONSENT CALENDAR . 5.1Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town Council meeting of October 4, 2022 DANVILLE TOWN COUNCIL SUMMARY OF ACTIONS OCTOBER 18, 2022 5.2Consider approval of the Register of Demands 5.3Consider acceptance of the August 2022 Month End Treasurer’s Report 5.4Consider adoption of Ordinance No. 2022-05, amending the Town’s Downtown Business District Ordinance to allow a time extension for expanded outdoor restaurant seating and establishing development standards, design guidelines, a fee schedule related to the establishment of parklets, allowing specific street closures and allowing the consumption of alcohol within those street closures pursuant to Danville Municipal Code Section 4-14.2b 5.5Consider adoption of Resolution No. 88-2022, approving the continued use of teleconferencing for the meetings of all Town legislative bodies other than the Town Council pursuant to the provisions of AB 361 5.6Consider adoption of Resolution No. 89-2022, receiving and accepting the General Plan Annual Progress Report for calendar years 2020 and 2021 5.7Consider adoption of Resolution No. 90-2022, awarding a professional services agreement for the Diablo Vista Park Play Area Renovation and Multi-Sport Skate Park, CIP No. B-560 and B-616 MOTION BY COUNCILMEMBER MORGAN, SECOND BY COUNCILMEMBER FONG, TO APPROVE THE CONSENT CALENDAR MOTION CARRIED 5-0 6. INFORMATIONAL STAFF REPORTS (Public comment invited) 7.1 Quarterly Investment Report (Chandler Asset Management) Genny Lynkiewicz, Chandler Asset Management, presented the report. 8. TOWN COUNCIL REPORTS 8.1Street Smarts Boardmember report by Councilmember Morgan Councilmember Morgan provided the report. 8.2RecycleSmart Boardmember report by Mayor Arnerich and Councilmember Morgan Mayor Arnerich and Councilmember Morgan provided the report. 8.3Town Council updates Councilmembers provided updates on events and activities in Danville. 9. ADJOURNMENT The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was adjourned at 6:20 p.m. to a publicly noticed closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9c, Consideration of Initiating Litigation-One (1) case.
