Town Council - Regular Meeting
SUMMARY OF ACTIONS
July 19, 2022
1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor
Arnerich at 5:00 p.m. at the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street, Danville, CA.
Mayor Arnerich reported out of the publicly noticed closed session on July 12,
2022, that no action was taken.
Mayor Arnerich reported out of the publicly noticed closed session on July 19,
2022, that, with all Councilmembers present, the Town Council voted
unanimously to opt -out of the class action settlement related to Monsanto Co.'s
manufacture and sale of PCBs in City of Long Beach v. Monsanto (Case number 2:16
CV -03493 -FMO -AS in the US District Court for the Central District of CA), and
instead to initiate direct litigation.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Mayor Arnerich.
3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes to the order of the agenda.
4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN
Robert Rawlinson expressed concern regarding the pavement condition index
(PCI) and the poor condition of roadways in Danville that have caused damage to
his car.

5. PROCLAMATIONS
5.1 Reading of a proclamation by Mayor Arnerich proclaiming August 2, 2022,
as National Night Out
Mayor Arnerich read the proclamation.
6. CONSENT CALENDAR
6.1 Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town
Council meeting of July 5, 2022
6.2 Consider approval of the Register of Demands
6.3 Consider acceptance of the May 2022 Month End Treasurer's Report
6.4 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 55-2022, approving the continued use
of teleconferencing for the meetings of all Town legislative bodies other
than the Town Council pursuant to the provisions of AB 361
6.5 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 56-2022, amending the Town of
Danville Conflict of Interest Code
6.6 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 57-2022, setting the Town Council
meeting dates for 2023; and Resolution No. 58-2022, setting the 2023 legal
holidays to be observed by the Town
6.7 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 60-2022, awarding a construction
contract for the Oak Hill Park Playground Replacement Project, CIP No. B-
544
6.8 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 61-2022, authorizing the Town
Manager to execute a professional services agreement with True North
Compliance Services for building plan review and staff augmentation
services through FY 2024/25

6.9 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 63-2022, accepting SB 1383 Local
Assistance Grant Program funding and appropriating $62,906 to support

employment agreement of the Town Manager
