Gail, I am writing this email to voice my opposition to the proposed pickle ball courts at Osage Park. I have a number of concerns:
I live in Greenbrook but close to Danville Station and Osage and know how much noise people who play pickle ball make, there is a pickle ball court at Greenbrook and I can hear it a
quarter mile away. Your proposal to add 10 courts would be not acceptable, not only to residents but there are 3 schools, but main impact would be to Charlotte Wood and Baldwin, how
can that noise be acceptable to kids in school or playing at the park. You not only risk the noise pollution, pickle ball is loud, but traffic, and the safety of our kids in these
areas during school, around the park and during the many youth activities that make Osage such a treasure to our community are an unacceptable hazard! Not sure who felt like this is
a good idea but would welcome your response. Thank you for your consideration of the negative impact this would have on our community.
