Morning Gail…..I totally understand the request for more pickle ball courts, it’s a very popular sport, and I too enjoy the game.
I play tennis at Osage also and the crowds are growing every day and the noise level with so many bystanders waiting to play is getting louder. I understand the Town wants to build
more pickle ball courts at Osage. I feel Osage is already impacted with so many sports and parking can be horrible at times. School starting soon and if more courts are being put
in, the parking is going to get worse, plus the idea of so many people close to Charlotte Wood school can cause issues.
Has the Town considered Snake Park, courts not used that much and the cost of resurfacing for pickle ball would save the Town money.
Also, Sycamore Park where the basketball area would be great for the courts and parking so much more.
Please take my thoughts into consideration before squeezing in more courts to a already impacted beautiful park.
