I am one of the many pickleball players in Danville that is so excited about getting additional courts. I've played for about a year. I strongly suggest additional courts at Osage Station for the reasons suggested in the meeting notes, and, exisiting courts/facilities could stay - they wouldn't need to be converted. You could even turn the exisiting two pickleball courts back into a tennis court if that is an issue. Additionally, more courts at Osage station would enable pickleball instructors to reserve a court from time to time to do lessons and clinics. I take lessons and clinics but have to go to Concord (they have 14 public courts). Not suggesting we have 14 courts but you get the gist. <https://s.aolcdn.com/cdn.webmail.aol.com/resources/core/images/emoji/smile.png> I will say our group has done a great job dealing with two courts, but many times one might be sitting out for 20 - 25 minutes waiting for the next rotation to play. Waiting times would be much shorter with more courts. And, I expect the numbers of those who play will only grow. Thank you for taking this on! Do you play? You should come out and join us! Sincerely, Andrea Joseph-Nickels 312 Merrilee Place, Danville
