CALL TO ORDER The special meeting of the Danville Design Review Board was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Board Member Chris Trujillo. The meeting was conducted by teleconference only. 1.1 Roll Call Roll call was conducted for attendance: Present: Mark Belotz, Board Member Chris Trujillo, Board Member Kevin Wong, Board Member Excused: Robert Combs, Board Member Afshan Hamid, Vice Chair Lou Palandrani, Chair 1.2 Announcements Information was provided on the format of the meeting and instructions for public comment. 2. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA There were no changes to the order of the agenda. 3. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN There were no public comments received. 4. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION/ACTION 2 4.1 Consider the approval of the May 12, 2022, Meeting Summary. The May 12, 2022, Meeting Summary was approved. 5. PUBLIC HEARINGS 5.1 Review and recommend approval of the architecture, color and material board, and landscape design for Development Plan request DEV22-0006 to allow the construction of a 4,615 square foot single family residence with an attached 498 square foot garage. The property is located within a Town-identified Scenic Hillside area at 2470 Tassajara Lane (Project Planner: Riley Anderson-Barrett). Riley Anderson-Barrett, Assistant Planner, presented the staff report The applicant Bill Wood, William Wood Architects, answered questions from Design Review Board members. There were no public comments received. Decision: The Design Review Board approved the project as proposed. 5.2 Review and approve revised final landscape plans for the Clocktower Plaza area. The plans were previously approved by the Planning Commission and Design Review Board under DEV19-0011. The site is located at 301 Hartz Avenue (Project Planner: David Crompton). David Crompton, Chief of Planning, presented the staff report. The applicant Bill Wood, William Wood Architects, answered Board Member questions regarding proposed revised landscaping with the removal of iron horse sculptures. There were no public comments received. Decision: The Design Review Board approved the revised landscape plans and recommended that the applicant install anchored garbage and recycling cans on both sides of the plaza, and that the Olive tree be moved back in the planter between the center and the front edge of the planter. 3 6. REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS 6.1 Board Member Reports There were no Board Member Reports. 7. ADJOURNMENT The special meeting of the Danville Design Review Board was adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
