SUMMARY OF ACTIONS
May 17, 2022 - DRAFT
1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor
Arnerich at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was conducted by teleconference only.

City Clerk Marie Sunseri conducted the roll call for attendance.

1.2 Announcements
City Clerk Marie Sunseri provided information regarding the format of the
meeting and instructions for public comment.
2.PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Diane Friedmann.
3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes to the order of the agenda.

5. PROCLAMATIONS
5.1Reading of a proclamation by Mayor Arnerich proclaiming the Month of
May 2022 as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month

6.1Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town

6.4Consider adoption of Ordinance No. 2022-03, temporarily suspending
outdoor seating limitations for restaurant uses within the Town of Danville,
authorizing extension of temporary Land Use Permits and approving street
closures with a temporary waiver of Danville Ordinance No. 96-10
6.5Consider adoption of Resolution No. 37-2022, approving the display of the
Rainbow Flag during the month of June 2022
6.6Consider adoption of Resolution No. 38-2022, approving the preliminary
Engineer’s Report, declaring intent to levy and collect assessments for Fiscal
Year 2022/23 and setting June 21, 2022 as the date for the public hearing for
Danville Street Lighting and Landscape Assessment District No. 1983-1

2022/23 project list funded by Senate Bill 1: the Road Repair and

contract and appropriating additional funding for the Demolition of
Buildings Located at 219 Weber Lane and 282 Front Street Project, CIP No.
B-427 & B-629

8.1Consider adoption of Resolution No. 41-2022, adopting the Tri-Valley
Transportation Development Fee pursuant to the requirements of the Joint
Exercise of Powers Agreement of the Tri-Valley Transportation Council
Transportation Manager Andrew Dillard provided the staff report.

TRANSPORTATION COUNCIL

9.1Presentation by SWA Group of the Draft Strategies recommended for the
Downtown Master Plan update
Andrew Watkins, SWA Group, presented draft strategies recommended for
the Downtown Master Plan update and responded to Town Council
questions.
Assistant Town Manager Tai Williams and Economic Development
Director Jill Bergman also responded to Town Council questions.
Mayor Arnerich opened the item to public comment.
