CALL TO ORDER The special meeting of the Danville Design Review Board was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Chair Combs. The meeting was conducted by teleconference only. 1.1 Roll Call Roll call was conducted for attendance: Present: Mark Belotz, Board Member Robert Combs, Board Member Afshan Hamid, Vice Chair Lou Palandrani, Chair Chris Trujillo, Board Member Excused: Kevin Wong, Board Member 1.2 Announcements Information was provided on the format of the meeting and instructions for public comment. 2. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA There were no changes to the order of the agenda. 3. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN There were no public comments received. 4. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION/ACTION 2 4.1 Consider the approval of the February 10, 2022, Meeting Summary. The February 10, 2022, Meeting Summary was approved. 5. PUBLIC HEARINGS 5.1 Review and recommend the Planning Commission approve Development Plan request (DEV21-0013) allowing the construction of a new 51,290 square foot two-story mixed-use building. The proposed development includes 37 residential condominium units totaling 46,680 square feet, and 3,920 square feet of commercial retail space along the Hartz Avenue frontage. The proposed project includes a 31,360 square foot subterranean parking garage. The site is located at 600 Hartz Avenue (Project Planner: David Crompton). David Crompton, Chief of Planning, presented the staff report. Eric Chevalier, The Address Company, Jay Kocourek and Rick Aiken, WHA Inc. Architect, Jason Neri, CBG Civil, Mark Shattinger and Amanda Croswell, MJS Landscape Architect all were in attendance. The applicant presented the updates made to the landscape and elevations. There were no public comments received. Decision: The Design Review Board recommended the Planning Commission approve the architectural design, landscape plans, and the color and material boards. The DRB also recommended approval of Option B for the trellis and widow design for the basement garage entry area. 6. REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS 6.1 Board Member Reports There were no reports from the Board members. 7. ADJOURNMENT The special meeting of the Danville Design Review Board was adjourned at 5:31 p.m.
