Town Council - Regular Meeting
SUMMARY OF ACTIONS
February 15, 2022
1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor
Arnerich at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was conducted by teleconference only.
1.1 Roll Call
City Clerk Marie Sunseri conducted the roll call for attendance.
Present: Newell Arnerich, Mayor
Robert Storer, Vice Mayor
Dave Fong, Councilmember
Renee Morgan, Councilmember
Karen Stepper, Councilmember
1.2 Announcements
City Clerk Marie Sunseri provided information regarding the format of the
meeting and instructions for public comment.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Paige Meyer.
3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes to the order of the agenda.

4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN
Lisa Blackwell expressed appreciation for the $100,000 in ARPA funds that the
Town contributed to the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation.
Brad Blackwell expressed appreciation for the $100,000 in ARPA funds that the
Town contributed to the Museum of the San Ramon Valley.
5. PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS
5.1 Update on San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District activities and
initiatives by Fire Chief Paige Meyer
Chief Meyer and his staff provided the update.
6. CONSENT CALENDAR
6.1 Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town
Council meeting of February 1, 2022
6.2 Consider approval of the Register of Demands
6.3 Consider acceptance of the December 2021 Month End Treasurer's Report
6.4 Consider adoption of Ordinance No. 2022-01, adding a new Chapter 2-26 to
the Danville Municipal Code establishing no campaign contribution limits
for Town Council candidates
6.5 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 9-2022, granting consent to the City of
Pleasanton to include the Town of Danville in the renewal the Tri -Valley
Tourism Marketing District (TVTMD)
6.6 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 10-2022, authorizing Community
Events Street Closures or Parking Restrictions for Calendar Year 2022 and
for the Ridge Hike for Prevention in Calendar Year 2023; and Resolution
No. 12-2022, authorizing Exemption from Danville Ordinance No. 96-10 for
the Danville Summerfest on June 25 and 26, 2022 and the Danville Fallfest
on October 22 and 23, 2022

Senior Program Supervisor Leah Martinez presented the staff report.
