CORONAVIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19) ADVISORY
AND MEETING PROCEDURE
As a precaution to protect both staff and our constituents, and to ensure the meeting
follows the Governor’s Executive Order and the Contra Costa County Coronavirus
Disease Advisory and Guidance for Social Distancing, this meeting may be limited in
attendance. Available seats will be spaced in a manner that will not allow individuals to
sit next to each other. As required by Contra Costa County Health Orders HO-COVID19-
08 and HO-COVID19-14, all persons attending the meeting will be required to wear a
face covering and to comply with steps taken by the Town to ensure appropriate social
distancing of all persons attending the meeting.
The Danville Town Council encourages citizens to participate in Council meetings. There
are two options for public comment: (1) submit written comments prior to 11:00 a.m. on
February 10; or, (2) contact a staff member at the meeting. Written comments must be
emailed to Terri Donner at tdonner@danville.ca.gov by 11:00 a.m. on February 10, the
day prior to the meeting. If you have questions, contact Terri Donner at 925-314-3387.
Any document provided to a majority of the members of the Town Council regarding any item on
this agenda will be made available for public inspection at the meeting and at the Danville Town
Offices, 510 La Gonda Way, Danville, CA during normal business hours.

SUBJECT: Annual Town Council Planning and Goal Setting Workshop
Attached are the agenda and materials for the annual Town Council Planning
and Goal Setting Workshop scheduled for Friday, February 11, 2022. The
workshop will be held at the Danville Community Center.
Similar to last year, all required social distancing and safety protocols will be
observed throughout the meeting. This includes the need to wear masks. The
workshop will begin at 8:30 a.m. and coffee and pastries will be provided. Box
lunches will be provided at noon.
The workshop agenda is subject to fine tuning per the preference of the Town
Council. Additional items that the Council may wish to discuss may be
brought up under “Other Business and Updates.”
Staff in attendance will include the Town Manager, City Attorney, Police Chief,
department heads and key staff related to the agenda topics. Any issues that
cannot be covered to the satisfaction of the Town Council within the allotted
time, will be scheduled for discussion at a future Town Council Study Session.
Please contact me prior to February 11 if you have any questions related to the
material provided, or for any other needs you may have to make this day as
productive as possible.
Staff looks forward to this opportunity to assist the Town Council in identifying
potential challenges, opportunities and strategies, to ensure that the Town
government continues to operate as effectively as possible.
