Dear Mr. Crompton and Ms. Meidberg:
My name is Faz Poursohi and I have been the owner of Faz Restaurant in Danville since 1995. 1 have
been one of the owners of 600 Hartz Ave., Danville CA for 27 years. Our companies have long been
and continue to be an active business member in Danville and we also own and operates another retail
bakery business in downtown Danville.
After many successful years, we have decided to close the Faz restaurant and pursue redevelopment
of the property pursuant to the landowner's inherent development rights.
While interfacing with the Town planners, Faz and his consultants developed the initial concept for this
mixed -use building, which has been designed to be in full conformance with the Town's General Plan
and zoning ordinance.
This new development will not only rejuvenate this key gateway site into the downtown core but will
provide additional retail services and residential homes in the Downtown Business District that the
Town is seeking and will also help to create a more walkable community.
