CALL TO ORDER The special meeting of the Danville Heritage Resource Commission was called to order by Vice Chair Benvenuto at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was conducted by teleconference only. 1.1 Roll Call Office Assistant Crystal Rosewicz conducted the roll call for attendance: Present: Mike Ammann, Commissioner Lee Halverson, Commissioner Mark Graham, Commissioner James Powers, Commissioner Kathryn Benvenuto, Vice Chair Kim Holmes, Chair Absent: Jerry Warren, Commissioner 1.2 Announcements Office Assistant Crystal Rosewicz provided information regarding the format of the meeting and instructions for public comment. 2. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA There were no changes to the order of the agenda. 3. “FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN” – To address the Heritage Resource Commission about a subject which is not listed on the agenda, click on the "Raise Your Hand" option in Zoom. Your name will be announced and you will have up to three (3) minutes to share your comments. There were no public comments. 4. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION/ACTION Danville Heritage Resource Commission – Special Meeting Summary of Actions - DRAFT November 8, 2021 2 4.1 Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the September 13, 2021, special Heritage Resource Commission meeting. MOTION BY COMMISSIONER GRAHAM, SECOND BY COMMISSIONER HALVERSON TO APPROVE THE SUMMARY OF ACTIONS FROM THE SEPTEMBER 13, 2021 SPECIAL HERITAGE RESOURCE COMMISSION MEETING MOTION CARRIED 5-0-0-1; COMMISSIONER WARREN ABSENT IT IS NOTED THAT CHAIR HOLMES JOINED THE MEETING 4.2 Consider approval of the Heritage Resource Commission meeting dates for 2022. MOTION BY COMMISSIONER GRAHAM, SECOND BY COMMISSIONER HALVERSON TO APPROVE THE HERITAGE RESOURCE COMMISSION MEETING DATES FOR 2022 WITH THE CHANGE TO A 7:00 PM MEETING TIME AND CORRECTIONS MADE TO THE MARCH AND NOVEMBER MEETING DATES TO MEET ON THE SECOND MONDAY OF THE MONTH MOTION CARRIED 6-0-0-1; COMMISSIONER WARREN ABSENT 5. NEW BUSINESS 5.1 Progress report from the Commission’s Historic Survey Subcommittee (M. Ammann, M. Graham, L. Halverson). Commissioner Halverson gave an update on the historic walk app PocketSights and asked the Commissioners to go onto the app and test it for accuracy and feedback. 5.2 Progress report from the Commission’s Outreach/Education Subcommittee (K. Benvenuto, K. Holmes, J. Powers, J. Warren). Vice Chair Benvenuto announced the plaque unveilings of the Love House and Osborn House on Saturday, November 13, 2021.
