HomeMy WebLinkAbout100521-05.2 5.2 Town Council – Regular Meeting SUMMARY OF ACTIONS September 21, 2021 - DRAFT 1.CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor Morgan at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was conducted by teleconference only. Mayor Morgan reported out of the 9:00 a.m. closed session on September 21, 2021, that no action was taken. 1.1Roll Call City Clerk Marie Sunseri conducted the roll call for attendance. Present: Renee Morgan, Mayor Newell Arnerich, Vice Mayor Dave Fong, Councilmember Karen Stepper, Councilmember Robert Storer, Councilmember 1.2 Announcements City Clerk Marie Sunseri provided information regarding the format of the meeting and instructions for public comment. She stated that no written public comments were received on any item on the agenda in advance of this meeting. 2.PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Allan Shields. 3.CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA There were no changes to the order of the agenda. DANVILLE TOWN COUNCIL SUMMARY OF ACTIONS SEPTEMBER 21, 2021 4.FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN There were no speakers. 5.CONSENT CALENDAR 5.1Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town Council meeting of September 7, 2021 5.2Consider approval of the Register of Demands 5.3Consider acceptance of the July 2021 Month End Treasurer’s Report 5.4Consider adoption of Resolution No. 54-2021, authorizing an extension of the Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program and associated fee subject to voter approval 5.5Consider adoption of Resolution No. 55-2021, appropriating funds and authorizing the replacement purchase of one police traffic motorcycle 5.6Consider adoption of Resolution No. 56-2021, appropriating funds and authorizing a police radio system upgrade, including encryption for portable, vehicle and desk radios 5.7Consider adoption of Resolution No. 57-2021, rejecting all bids for the Gazebo Replacement at Hap Magee Ranch Park project, CIP No. B-400) 5.8Consider adoption of Resolution No. 58-2021, appropriating funds and authorizing the Town Manager to execute contracts for technology improvements associated with CIP Project B-626 - Town Office Relocation MOTION BY COUNCILMEMBER STORER, SECOND BY COUNCILMEMBER STEPPER, TO APPROVE THE CONSENT CALENDAR MOTION CARRIED 5-0 2 DANVILLE TOWN COUNCIL SUMMARY OF ACTIONS SEPTEMBER 21, 2021 6.COMMUNICATIONS 6.1Quarterly Police Department report by Danville Police Chief Allan Shields Allan Shields provided the report. 6.2Monthly legislative update by Deputy Town Manager Diane Friedmann Diane Friedmann provided the report. 7.TOWN COUNCIL REPORTS 7.1Town Council updates Councilmembers provided updated on events and activities in Danville.
