SUBJECT: Preparation for the 40 Annual Mayor’s Installation and Community

Service Awards
The 40 Annual Mayor’s Installation and Community Service Awards event is scheduled
th
to take place on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
Time has been allotted during the study session on September 15 to review the draft
meeting agenda and further discuss the event time and whether the event will be held in
person or virtual.
In addition, future Town Council discussions will include the following items:
October 12: Select three recommendations for the Michael K. Shimansky
Community Service Award
November 9: Select Town Council Community Service Award recipients; identify
award presenters; finalize agenda
December 7: Event
Please email your award nominations to me prior to the October 12 study session. I will
provide the information to the entire Council for discussion.
