Town Council – Regular Meeting
SUMMARY OF ACTIONS
August 17, 2021 - DRAFT
1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor
Morgan at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was conducted by teleconference only.
1.1Roll Call
City Clerk Marie Sunseri conducted the roll call for attendance.
Present: Renee Morgan, Mayor
Newell Arnerich, Vice Mayor
Dave Fong, Councilmember
Karen Stepper, Councilmember
Robert Storer, Councilmember
1.2 Announcements
City Clerk Marie Sunseri provided information regarding the format of the
meeting and instructions for public comment. She stated that there were no
written public comments received by the Town prior to the meeting.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Nicole Gemmer.
3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
Town Manager Joe Calabrigo stated that item 6.4 is being removed from the
Consent Calendar and presented to the Town Council at a later date.

4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN
Veronica Benjamin addressed the Town Council regarding the incident with the
Danville Police Department that occurred on March 11, 2021.
Stewart Proctor suggested that the Town consider recognizing Maggie Steffens on
her U.S. Olympic Gold medal in Women’s Water Polo.
5. PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS
5.1Presentation of a proclamation to Nicole Gemmer, Danville’s representative
on the Contra Costa County Library Commission, commemorating the 25
th
Anniversary of the Danville Library
Mayor Morgan presented the proclamation to Nicole Gemmer.
6. CONSENT CALENDAR
Item 6.4 was removed and tabled to a later date.
6.1Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town
Council meeting of August 3, 2021
6.2Consider approval of the Register of Demands
6.3Consider acceptance of the June 2021 Month End Treasurer’s Report
6.4Consider adoption of Resolution No. 46-2021, setting the Town Council
meeting dates for 2022; and Resolution No. 47-2021, setting the 2022 legal
holidays to be observed by the Town REMOVED AND TABLED TO
LATER DATE
6.5Consider adoption of Resolution No. 48-2021, amending the Town of
Danville Conflict of Interest Code

6.6Consider adoption of Resolution No. 49-2021, authorizing the filing of an
application for funding assigned to MTC and committing any necessary
matching funds and stating the assurance to complete CIP Project Nos. C-

6.7Consider adoption of Resolution No. 50-2021, approving a one-year time
extension for previously approved Preliminary Development Plan –
Rezoning application PUD15-0001 for the 1.88-acre site identified as 359
and 375 West El Pintado (GMMR, LLC)
6.8Consider adoption of Resolution No. 51-2021, approving out-of-state travel
to attend the 2021 U.S. Conference of Mayors’ 89 Annual Meeting in
