RESOLUTION NO. 48-2021
AMENDING THE TOWN OF DANVILLE
CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE
WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act of 1972 (the "Act") requires every local government
agency to adopt a local Conflict of Interest Code; and
WHEREAS, the Act requires every local government agency to review its Conflict of
Interest Code every two years and make necessary amendments when necessary; and
WHEREAS, changes in Danville staff titles and positions prompted a review of the code;
and
WHEREAS, amendments to the Conflict of Interest Code are necessary to ensure that all
positions listed in the Code are reflected accurately; and
WHEREAS, the following modifications are hereby approved: delete Administrative
Services Director, Clean Water Program Coordinator and Principal Planner; add Program
Superintendent; and, change Development Services Director to Deputy Development
Services Director; change Assistant to the Town Manager to Deputy Town Manager;
change Information Technology Manager to Chief Technology Officer; change Emergency
Preparedness Manager to Emergency Services Manager; change Economic Development
Manager to Business and Economic Development Director; change Plan Check Engineer to
Plans Examiner; and, change Finance Manager/Treasurer to Finance Director/Treasurer;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the Town of Danville's Conflict of Interest
Code, consisting of the attached Exhibit 1, is hereby adopted.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on August 17, 2021, by the
following vote:
AYES: Arnerich, Fong, Morgan, Stepper, Storer

ABSENT: None
