This investment is estimated to add approximately 725 hours of playability for local youth and adults. Currently, the park has lighting at a soccer field, baseball field, basketball and tennis courts. The proposed lighting would be installed around the one remaining unlit field near the intersection of Crow Canyon Road and Tassajara Ranch Drive. Minimal to negligible impacts are expected to surrounding neighborhoods given the use of new LED lighting technology and the field's lower elevation. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT a Negative Declaration of environmental significance has been prepared for this project indicating that no significant environmental impacts are expected to be associated with this project. Copies of the draft Negative Declaration are available for review at the Town offices at 510 La Gonda Way, Danville. The public review period for this project ends on August 11, 2021. The Parks, Recreation and Arts Commission will consider this proposal at its August 11, 2021 public meeting scheduled virtually on Zoom at 5:00 PM.
