S por ts Lig hting at Diablo Vista Park
The Sports Alliance - a collaboration of youth and adult sports leagues that work to provide
recreational experiences for our community - has proposed funding the installation of sports
lighting at the last unlit field within Diablo Vista Park.
This investment is estimated to add approximately 725 hours of playability for local youth and
adults. Currently, the park has lighting at a soccer field, baseball field, basketball and tennis
courts. The proposed lighting would be installed around the one remaining unlit field near the
intersection of Crow Canyon Road and Tassajara Ranch Drive.

The sports lighting would utilize a LED system designed for energy conservation and focused
lighting with minimal spill over. Minimal to negligible impacts are expected to surrounding
neighborhoods given the use of new LED lighting technology and the field's lower elevation.
