6.3 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 40-2021, authorizing the renewal of
residential permit parking provisions within west side Danville neighborhoods
REMOVED FOR DISCUSSION
Councilmember Stepper expressed the need to know the extent of public
comments and feedback from the neighbors before taking Town Council action to
extend the parking permits.
Mayor Morgan suggested reviewing the residential parking permits again at a
later time, after school is in session, to determine the impacts to the neighborhood
and allow time to receive feedback.
Town Manager Joe Calabrigo stated that there was no neighborhood notification
because there were no changes proposed to the parking permits and there has been
no recent input or negative feedback from the neighbors.
There was Town Council discussion and consensus to bring the item back for
Town Council review in one year and provide notification to the neighbors and
the nearby schools.
Mayor Morgan opened the item to public comment.
There were no speakers.
Mayor Morgan closed the item to public comment.
